We know you will love JEMS as much as we do. But dont take our word for it, just ask our JEMS families! Check below to read testimonials from our dedicated parents!
My son Timothy has been at JEMs for 2 years. Timmy loves going to JEMs, he loves the activities, the learning and the teachers. Timmy feels truly part of the JEMs community and as he is at a non-Jewish school this is an important link for him with our community. My husband and I cannot praise the work done by all the JEMs staff enough and Rivky and Yossi are inspiring leaders for our son to learn from.
My boys, aged 10 and 8, LOVE JEMs and would not miss it for anything. (They are always coming up with very creative reasons why they should skip other activities )
The teaching at JEMs is done with such passion and love and always with a big smile. The activities engage the kids, taking the chore out of learning and making it FUN. I can clearly see why my boys and their friends love it so much and why they are so eager to go back for more. Thank you!
In the almost four years that my daughter has been attending Jems, I have only ever heard her say the most positive things about this weekly experience.
She genuinely looks forward to going to Jems each week, learning through enrichment, play and fun.
Our daughter comes from a kosher, Orthodox home, but we could never give her the love of Judaism and sense of community and belonging that she has developed through attending Jems.
I strongly believe that our children need to grow up understanding, on the one had, that we do not live in a Jewish world, while knowing, on the other hand, that they are part of the most wonderful, spiritual and deeply connected religion and culture, with an amazing and rich history and traditions that bind us together.
We are so, so grateful to Rabbi Yossi and Rivky as well as all the Jems teachers and volunteers for their incredible energy and devotion to helping our children to learn and grow as proud young Jewish people.
They are a force to be reckoned with!!!!
To us, JEMs is more than an after school class or activity that our daughter attends – its being part of a vibrant Jewish community whereby every family member is a part.
The JEMs event calendar is filled with so many wonderful opportunities for children and their families to connect to Judaism in the most positive, fun and exciting way.
My daughter Talor has been attending JEMS now for almost 2 years since the beginning of kindergarten. Words cannot express how thankful I am for service that JEMS provide. Not only is it a place where my daughter goes to learn a little bit about Judiasm and Hebrew once a week, but it has served as so much more; it has provided a loving environment in which my daughter has developed meaningful friendships and it has given our whole family a sense of community. Thank you JEMS for being part of our life.
